Synopsis:
Easy Company approaches a ruined town in France. They are ambushed by a squad of SS troopers. The fighting soon becomes hand-to-hand. Rock calls out an order for his men to hit the ground. He then opens fire at the Nazis who are still standing. Only one of them survives.

Rock and his men have been ordered to hold the town until the main force arrives. They guard the prisoner, but the local children seem drawn to him. One night the kids steal Easy's weapons. Rock is forced to battle the prisoner hand-to-hand. He prevails. The children then explain that the Nazi had threatened to kill their parents if they did not cooperate with him.
