Synopsis:
Superboy uses his indestructible costume to smother an atomic blast. The suit becomes radioactive, so Superboy leaves it on the testing grounds until the radiation wears off. Before Superboy can retrieve the costume, criminal scientist Doc Ellison steals it. Ellison then analyzes the material and develops synthetic super-suits which he sells to criminals. Finally Ellison launches the real costume into space.
Superboy discovers his costume is missing, so Ma Kent constructs an ordinary cloth costume for him. When he battles the first crook wearing a synthetic suit, the cloth suit is ruined. Superboy constructs additional costumes from various materials in order to defeat the other crooks. Superboy then learns that the synthetic suits deteriorate when in contact with milk. He uses this weakness to apprehend the last gangster.
Superboy then tricks Doc Ellison into revealing the location of the real costume. Superboy retrieves the costume and uses it as evidence to indict Ellison.
