Synopsis:
Two crooks observing Clark Kent believe that they have uncovered his secret identity as Superman. One of the crooks, Maxie, has plastic surgery to make himself look like Clark Kent. Then when he sees Supergirl, he pretends to be Clark. He asks her to change into her civilian identity. When she complies, the crooks learn her identity and confirm that Clark is Superman.

Realizing her mistake, Supergirl tries to silence the crooks, but it is too late. They begin blackmailing her. Supergirl nearly gives in to the demands, but refuses knowing that she will be forever at their command.

Regretting her mistake, Supergirl leaves the crooks. At that moment an escaped killer with a vendetta against Clark, sees Maxie who now looks like the reporter. The killer tosses a bomb, killing Maxie and his partners. Supergirl returns and catches the killer, but it is too late to save the crooks who take the secret identities to their grave.
