Synopsis:
When John Alpert takes ill, he reveals to his daughter Gloria that he found her at sea as a baby. She was clutching a note written in Kryptonian script. Gloria takes the note to Smallville for Superboy to examine. Superboy reads the note and determines that Gloria is his sister.

Gloria joins the Kent family as Clark Kent's sister. Superboy tries to help her discover her powers, but she doesn't appear to have any. Superboy decides to fake her powers to let her down easy, but it makes Lana Lang suspicious. Superboy then tells Gloria the truth about her lost powers, believing they were removed permanently by Kryptonite.

Later, Superboy investigates the note further. He discovers that the note was actually sent in his rocket. Wind blew the note to sea where Gloria found it. Superboy then returns Gloria to her father. She believes her experience in Smallville was only a dream. Superboy also helps locate her real parents.
