Synopsis:
A mysterious pilot in a lead mask has taken broken down vehicles and claims they now have super engines. Superboy watches as each of the vehicles wins a race. The man in the mask is really two men using identical vehicles. While Superboy is distracted during each race, they switch so that the man who started the race is not the finisher.

Superboy is tipped off to the scheme and prevents them from succeeding in a gambling racket on a train speed record using the same tactic. With the scheme exposed, the men are arrested.
