Chap 2. : "The Revolt of the Weaklings"
Synopsis:
While on a space mission, Superboy encounters a rocket from Krypton. He looks inside, but gets stuck as the rocket lands on the planet Xenon. Xenon has a red sun and gravity similar to Krypton, so Superboy is powerless. He meets a super powered couple, Ral and Jinnia Quorz. Most residents of Xenon have powers because their planet used to have greater gravity. The Quorz’s take Superboy as their adopted son.
While on Xenon, Superboy must disguise the fact that he does not have powers, since those without powers are exiled as weaklings. He is eventually found out and sent to live in the community of weaklings.
There Superboy is exposed to Red Kryptonite which temporarily restores his powers. Superboy then uses his powers to battle the evil leader of Xenon, Zozz. In the process the planet becomes surrounded by Xenonite which robs the planet’s inhabitants of their powers in a similar fashion to Kryptonite. Since no one has powers anymore, the anti-weakling law is abolished, and the exiles return home. Superboy returns home as well.
