Synopsis:
Without explaining himself, Superman offers to give Lana Lang super powers through a transfusion of blood. Lana eagerly accepts and becomes a Superwoman. Lois is jealous and believes Superman’s actions indicate he prefers Lana. However, Superman makes Lois the same offer, and she become Super-Lois.
The girls, while confused by Superman’s sudden actions, enjoy their powers. Superman informs them that he must leave for outer space for awhile. After he leaves, the girls are hypnotically drawn to an abandoned mill. It explodes when they arrive, which would have killed them had they not been invulnerable.
Superman returns and explains that his old foe Brainiac had returned. Brainiac planned to destroy Earth unless Superman left Earth and let Lois and Lana face the explosion. With super powers, the girls survived the blast, but the powers soon wear off. Brainiac agrees to leave Earth alone since Superman met his challenge.
