Synopsis:
Hawkman and Hawkgirl are about to capture some mobsters when they are caught in a gilded cage surrounded by a force field, and the mobsters escape. An alien bird creature appears and explains that he formed the cage to protect them from what he perceived to be hunters. Unable to communicate in return to explain the error, they use birds to trail the crooks and are about to experience the caging again when Hawkman figures out how to explain their task to the alien in sign language. The gangsters are rounded up; the alien takes on supplies and returns home.
