Synopsis:
Lana Lang attends the performance of Mystir Ali. Afterwards she writes a favorable article about the psychic for the Smallville Sentinel. Ali gives Lana a crystal ball in gratitude.

Clark Kent humiliates Lana for her belief in the psychic's powers. To get even she plants a transmitter on Krypto, then uses the information to write articles about Superboy's deeds. She claims that her crystal ball was responsible.

Superboy eventually discovers the transmitter. He then plans to get even with Lana, but she uses the crystal ball one more time. This time it really works, revealing Superboy's secret identity. Clark convinces her the revelation was a hoax, so Lana destroys the crystal.
