Superboy visits the asteroid world of Juno where he meets another super powered youth named Power-Boy. Power-Boy explains that he was rocketed to Juno as a child from ancient Atlantis on Earth. He was frozen in suspended animation for thousands of years until revived by the inhabitants of Juno.

Soon after Superboy's arrival, Power-Boy begins losing his powers. Superboy is forced to fill-in for Juno's boy hero. When Superboy is far enough away, Power-Boy's strength returns. Superboy deduces that he is the cause of Power-Boy's weakness. The Boy of Steel leaves Juno forever, unable to ever return for fear of hurting his new friend.
