Synopsis:
Weakling Allan Vale moves to Smallville. Allan is a Superboy fan, but suffers from a rare disease. His uncle creates a special formula to give Allan super powers and overcome his weakness. Allan then helps Superboy as Supremo.

However, Superboy warns Allan to stay away from a newly unearthed monster. The best defeats Superboy, but Allan refuses to run from it. Allan battles and defeats the monster, but he is cut by a poison claw. After Allan dies heroically, Superboy explains to his uncle that the monster was a fake. Allan was dying from the uncurable disease but didn't know it. Superboy made his last moments happy by letting Allan be a hero.
