Synopsis:
Superboy uses a piece of Red Kryptonite to prevent the explosion of a cyclotron. Although he has already been exposed to this piece, the nuclear reaction causes the Kryptonite to affect him again. However, this time instead of having the original effect of making him shrink to tiny size, it makes him grow into a giant.

Superboy’s increased size makes it difficult to perform his duties, but he manages to get the job done. However, Lana Lang suspects Clark will also be a giant. Fortunately, the effects wear off in time for Clark to appear normally. Lana guesses correctly that the effect has worn off, but she is thrown off when the giant Superboy appears again. This time though, the giant is a disguised Colossal Boy from the future. Afterward, Superboy thanks his Legionnaire friend for helping him protect his secret identity.
