Synopsis:
A smog cloud hovers above the town of Littleville. When men begin changing into monsters, Robby Reed becomes Mr. Echo to battle them. The effect eventually wears off and the men return to normal with no memory of their transformations.

Mr. Rabon, a new resident of Littleville, blames the smog and urges the townspeople to move at a town meeting. Robby's grandfather convinces them to stay. After the meeting Gramps is transformed into a monster too. Robby becomes Future-Man with the power to create illusions and stop Gramps until he returns to normal.

Robby decides to investigate Rabon who is getting his wish as residents flee the town. Robby learns that Rabon's real name is Nabor and is a former criminal. Nabor created the smog and the monsters himself to get revenge upon Littleville. As Future-Man, Robby exposes the plot and the citizens return to their homes.
