Synopsis:
After witnessing an atomic test, Lois Lane believes she has received a lethal dose of atomic radiation. Fearing that her life is soon to end, Lois begins risking her life in pursuit of dangerous stories. Superman manages to save her from peril, and learns of her predicament from a note Lois writes for him to open after her demise.

Superman watches Lois closely to prevent her from getting killed in action. After rescuing her several more times, Superman visits Dr. Jerrold who performed the radiation tests on Lois. The doctor explains that Lois is fine. She had mistaken her diagnosis for that of a guinea pig which the doctor named after her. Lois is grateful when Superman informs her of the good news.
