Synopsis:
Superman has become annoyed by Lois continually putting herself in dangerous situations and counting on him to bail her out. To teach her a lesson, Superman does not show up when Lois is imperiled, but he asks Krypto and Aquaman to secretly protect her. Lois now believes that Superman has indeed abandoned her, but when hitmen hired by Phil the Wrecker try to kill her Jimmy Olsen shows up disguised as Superman to protect her. She then believes the Man of Steel will continue protecting her, and she resumes her dangerous activities. Jimmy later explains to Superman that he thought the Man of Steel was busy, and he wanted to help protect her not realizing that his actions spoiled Superman’s plans.
