Synopsis:
While visiting Superman’s Fortress of Solitude, Jimmy Olsen is bitten my a metal-eater in Superman’s alien zoo. For the next 48 hours, Jimmy can’t resist eating metal. During this time he is forced to help some crooks steal Kryptonite from inside a metal safe. The crooks then lure Superman and Krypto into range of the stolen mineral. Jimmy saves his friend by eating the Kryptonite and some lead together. Superman then rounds up the crooks, and Jimmy’s hunger for metal subsides.
