Synopsis:
After an accidental exposure to Red Kryptonite, Superman confronts two bank robbers. One of the crooks lobs a grenade at Superman and seriously injures him. The Red K appears to have left him powerless and because of the injuries he has sustained, the Man of Steel is taken to the hospital.

Lois and Lana visit Superman in the hospital unaware that his powers were only temporarily removed by the Red K effects. Superman pretends that the condition is permanent in order to determine if the girls are in love with him only because of his powers. One of the girls reveals that she will stick by him even though he is powerless, while the other gives up and realizes she loved him only for his powers. Superman is not sure which girl was which, but when the effects of the Red K wear off, it turns out to have been merely a hallucination brought on by the Red Kryptonite.
