Synopsis:
The King learns that the Witch intends to steal the Evans Emeralds. He goes to Evans house and finds the Witch standing over the dead body of Evans. The emeralds are missing. The King lets the Witch go and searches the body. He discovers a poison needle hidden inside a glove.

The gloves lead the King to Edward Greer. He follows Greer to emerald collector Jan Opdorp. Greer tries to murder Opdorp too, but the King interrupts the murder disguised as Evans. He saves Opdorp's life and apprehends the crook. However, Opdorp's jewels are stolen.

The King realizes that the Witch stole the jewels. He tracks her down and recovers the stolen emeralds belonging to Opdorp and Evans.
