Synopsis:
Superman scolds Lois and Lana after they make a scene at a charity event. Later, when he takes them on a tour of the Fortress of Solitude, Superman is called away. When he returns he finds that the girls have placed themselves into suspended animation. Superman travels 5,000 years into the future, when the girls are scheduled to be revived, only to watch them die because the machine malfunctioned.

Superman tries to change fate, but he fails. He returns remorsefully to his own time. He misses the girls terribly. When he returns to the Fortress, he discovers the girls are in Kandor, having used lifeless androids in the suspended animation chambers. Their trick on Superman succeeded, and the Man of Steel apologizes for scolding them.
