Synopsis:
Wonder Woman returns to Paradise Island and wins a roping contest against her fellow Amazons. Her mother gives her a magic lasso, forged from the links of a magic girdle. The lasso forces those held by it to obey Wonder Woman.
When she returns to America to search for the escaped criminal, Paula Von Gunther, Wonder Woman learns that Colonel Darnell’s ship, the Gigantic, has disappeared at sea. The Magic Sphere on Paradise Island had revealed Von Gunther to be aboard the Gigantic as well.
Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor fly to the last known position of the ship and discover it to be under attack by a Nazi sub. Wonder Woman stops the sub and rescues Darnell, capturing several of the Nazi leaders in the process.
