Synopsis:
Clark receives a promotion for his work on the Trent article. Lois however is returned to writing the lovelorn column because the editor believes that reporting is too dangerous for her. Lois is angry with Clark, but when a woman comes in to tell her about a smuggling ring she agrees to go on a date with Clark.
At the club, Lois makes a pass at the smuggler to get his attention. While dancing Lois obtains evidence from the man’s pocket. His gang sees this, so they grab Lois and kidnap her. Clark is thrown in the water, while they escape by boat. Clark changes into Superman and saves Lois. He recovers the evidence and turns the crooks in to the police. He even scoops Lois by phoning in the article first.
