Synopsis:
The district attorney, George Lash is quoted by Clark Kent to be going after gang bosses, Moran, Billings, and Norton. Later, Superman sees Lash in a drunken stupor, drugged by criminals. Investigating, he learns that Lash’s wife was murdered, and Lash is the prime suspect.
Convinced of Lash’s innocence, Superman follows the gangsters and locates a document exonerating Lash. Superman also brings in Nick Norton who he suspects is the real killer. He tricks Norton into confessing his crime to the police and framing Lash.
