Synopsis:
Zatara meets Adam Springer, a farmer who claims that his farm is haunted. Zatara visits the farm and discovers the body of Jim Hendrix. Springer claims that the ghost murdered Hendrix. Zatara investigates however and learns that Hendrix was really the farm's owner. Springer attempted to steal the farm from Hendrix in order to gain control of the oil found on the farm. When Hendrix would not sell, Springer murdered him and used the ghost story to cover himself. Zatara exposes the plot and sees that Springer is arrested.
