Synopsis:
Maxine Sterenbuch is hunted by an assassin. Her life is saved by a man named Solomon who then kidnaps her. When Maxine awakens from the effects of a tranquilizer dart, Solomon explains that her childhood friend Valerie Beaudry tried to kill her. Valerie was a horribly disfigured child made into a beautiful woman as a result of a scientific experiment. The same process gave her deadly sonic powers. Her boyfriend Henry Armbruster is responsible and sent Valerie, dubbed the Silver Swan, to kill Solomon's father.

Valerie has also been conditioned to hate Wonder Woman who is scheduled to appear at a charity fair in her honor. Solomon brings Maxine to find Valerie, but Armbruster's men find them first. The Silver Swan then attacks Wonder Woman. She uses her sonic scream to knock over a ferris wheel.
