Synopsis:
A top student, Jimmy King, is caught with the answer sheet to an upcoming test. He is accused of cheating. Distraught by the accusation, Jimmy leaves school.

The teacher, Miss Grant, realizes it was her mistake which resulted in the paper gettting into Jimmy’s possession. Miss Grant and Principal Mason visit Wally West, a friend of Jimmy’s. Wally hasn’t seen Jimmy but believes he might have gone to his cousin Paul in New York. Wally investigates as Kid Flash.

Wally finds Jimmy in New York, but Jimmy is held prisoner by his cousin who is the head of the Beatnik Gang. Kid Flash waits for the entire gang to be assembled and then captures them during a heist. With his cousin in jail, Jimmy returns to school to clear his name and participate in the school track meet.
