Synopsis:
During a meeting, the entire Justice League, except Snapper, is shrunk to tiny size, and enters the sub-atomic world of Starzl, where their aid is enlisted against the three android protectors of that world. Although these artificial humanoids, Terrane, Ocana, and Etheran, guard Starzl against menaces from land, sea, and air, a radiation they emit is now shortening the lives of the people.

The Justice League is warned that the androids are invulnerable an unbeatable, but they attempt the deed anyway. Atom, Batman, and Green Arrow lose to Terrane; Aquaman, Flash, and J’onn J’onzz are beaten by Ocana; and Superman, Green Lantern, and Wonder Woman come out second-best to Etheran. This defeat is unexpected, since the androids did not appear to be that powerful, and Batman deduces that something about Starzl caused the League to believe the warning concerning the invulnerability of their foes.

The solution to the problem is to summon Snapper, who has not been told of the androids’ invincibility. With the super-heroes setting him up, he succeeds in defeating the androids.
