Comments:
The Justice League members are turned evil by the Antithesis and battle the fledgling Teen Titans, as revealed in flashback in Teen Titans #53, following this story.
Synopsis:
Five Justice League members envision their own defeats in dreams in which they are handicapped by mysterious objects. A ring gives Batman uncontrollable speed, gloves take away Hawkman's power of flight, a pair of glasses makes Superman invulnerable to Kryptonite while giving him the yellow and fire-weaknesses of Green Lantern and J'onn J'onzz, a mask forces Wonder Woman to broadcast her thoughts, and an antenna gives Atom telescopic vision which he can't control.
When Snapper discovers the dream-objects in the Souvenir Room, the five heroes find themselves re-enacting the events from their dreams. This time, however, they are able to overcome their handicaps and defeat their foes. Deducing that Dr. Destiny is behind this dream-menace, they visit his prison cell, where he has mentally created a new materioptikon in his own dreams, and so arrange for psychiatric treatment which will prevent him from doing so again.
