While visiting Mexico Batman saves the life of young Luis Mercado. Batman follows the boy in order to learn why he has been targeted. Ted has amnesia after they went in search of the treasure of Choclotan. Luis's father was killed.

Batman joins Ted and Luis on another trek through the country in search of the treasure. A smuggler known as Mr. Big tries to follow. The smuggler is actually the former fight manager of Luis's father, El Sordo. Ted regains his memory and leads the crooks into a trap. He then shows the others the cave he discovered with Mercado containing Choclotan.
