Comments:
This hypothetical story which has four alternate endings is narrated by the story's author, Alfred Bester. Editor Sheldon Mayer also makes a brief appearance.

Synopsis:
Two thugs witness Green Lantern and Doiby Dickles enter an apartment building on their way home. The crooks want to learn GL's secret identity, so they follow the pair through the fog. They try to get a look at Alan Scott's face, but he and Doiby are able to prevent the crooks from accomplishing their goal. Alan is able to protect his secret and apprehend the thugs.
