Synopsis:
When Hawkman and Hawkgirl apprehend a crook, they are photographed by publicity man Stan Welch. The photographer claims that he can make Hawkgirl a Hollywood sensation. To further her career Hawkgirl informs Welch of the location where she and Hawkman will be patrolling. However, Welch is working for the jewel thief the Humming Bird who strikes across town.

Hawkgirl is humiliated that her quest for fame has led to a robbery. When she next talks to Welch, she gives him false information. The Humming Bird strikes again, but this time Hawkman and Hawkgirl are on hand to capture her.
