Synopsis:
Jimmy's father brings him half a medallion which legend has it once granted powers to a Mayan king. By chance, Jimmy has the other half which was given to him by Professor Lang. Superman fuses the two halves together, then hands the medallion to Jimmy. Immediately, Jimmy receives super-powers.

Jimmy experiments with his new powers by performing super-deeds. However, crooks decide to utilize his power for themselves. They kidnap Jimmy's father and use him as a hostage. Jimmy is forced to steal for them, and even Superman can't prevent it. However, Jimmy is able to stop the crooks by planting his signal watch in the stolen loot. The watch leads Superman to the kidnappers, and he rescues Mark Olsen. Jimmy's new powers eventually wear off, and he returns to normal.
