Part II:"The Brute Suitor with the Ape Shape"
Synopsis:
Supergirl takes a group of underprivileged children to the circus where a newly discovered creature will be unveiled. After an elephant goes berserk, the monster breaks out of its cage. It possesses magical powers that allow it to stop the elephant's rampage. The monster then falls in love with Supergirl. She coaxes the creature back into its cage and forgets about it.
Later the creature breaks loose again. This time it threatens a train carrying explosives. Supergirl saves the train and the police who tried to stop the monster, which escapes. When the monster appears again, it exposes Linda's secret identity at a school dance. Fortunately another student provides an alibi for Linda's Supergirl costume.
Supergirl then takes the creature to the Fortress of Solitude. She intends to use a machine to translate its speech into English. Using the machine, Supergirl is able to get the creature to say "Kltpzyxm". The monster is exposed as Mr. Mxyzptlk in disguise, and he is sent back to his home dimension.
