Synopsis:
Crime boss and gambler Lucifer Chancel sets up operations in Smallville. He invites underworld gangsters to bet on various situations with which he creates for Superboy. The Boy of Steel must stop the Gambler's men on several occassions and evade traps set for him. The Gambler's luck seems to hold until Superboy tricks the gangster and shakes his confidence. Without his unrelenting belief in his own luck, the Gambler is easily defeated.
