Synopsis:
Several sailors in South America visit a local swami to bring them luck on their return voyage to America. The swami gives each sailor a lucky rabbit's foot and tells them to renew the power of the charm by giving the rabbit's feet to a swami in Gotham City.

After arriving safely, one sailor gives away his rabbit's foot. When the Gotham swami learns about the lost charm, he orders his men and the sailors to retrieve it. Their behavior draws the attention of Batman. The Caped Crusader watches the swami switch charms on another group of sailors. He is then accidentally caught by the gang, but he escapes and tracks down the crooks. When he recovers the rabbit's feet, Batman discovers diamonds inside. The swami and his gang were using the sailors to smuggle them across the border.
