Synopsis:
Wonder Woman returns to Bana-Mighdall with the mercenary Amazons. There she finds the missing girdle which once belonged to Antiope. Nehebka tells Wonder Woman the story of her Amazon line. Antiope married Theseus, but she was killed. The Amazon Phthia held Theseus and his son Melanippus responsible. They in turn blamed the crime of Ariadne. The other Amazons rescues Phthia from the dungeon and declared war for generations. Eventually they lost their immortality and became mercenaries.

After the story concludes, a terrible storm causes the entire city to shake. The storm is caused by Hermes who has angrily come to the city proclaiming the Amazons blasphemers and desecrators.
