Synopsis:
Superboy robots attack around the globe simultaneously causing the public to turn against the Boy of Steel. He attempts to clear his name, but the military stages a counterattack under the guidance of Professor Ruthol. Superboy then creates a new identity as Voltran from the planet Voltra. He offers his help to defeat Superboy. Ruthol believes Voltran is the Boy of Steel and leads him into a Kryptonite trap. Once Ruthol reveals himself as Luthor, Superboy captures him. Voltran is shown to be a robot. With Luthor in custody, Superboy is able to clear his name by proving that Luthor created the robots responsible for the worldwide attacks.
