Synopsis:
Professor Raymond Lock makes advances towards student Janice Crandall. When she refuses him, Lock attempts to frame her fiancee Scott Manning for murder. Several witnesses are able to pin the murder on Lock and he is sent to prison vowing vengeance.
Lock escapes from police custody and begins targeting the witnesses using their own habits as methods for murder. After Lock kills the first witness Thaddeus Winston, Superman involves himself in the case. He protects each of Lock's intended victims from further harm. Lois Lane then writes a scathing article about Lock making her a target. When Lock strikes, Superman is there to apprehend him, sending the murderer back to prison.
