Synopsis:
A statue of Superman is erected in Metropolis Park. The statue brings pride to the community and lowers the morale of crooks. Two gang bosses, Goon McGloon and Literary Link, steal the statue and use it for target practice. The missing statue embarasses Superman, so he takes its place in the park.

When word of the statue's reappearance reaches the crooks, they return to the park to check. They deduce that the statue is the real Man of Steel and return to their hide-out. Superman watches them and follows. He then replaces their target dummy statue with himself. When the crooks begin firing, they realize it is the real Superman. After the crooks are apprehended, Superman returns the real statue to the park.
