Lois Lane introduces Clark Kent to Bill Minton, the inventor of a new transport plane. Clark suspects that Lois has romantic interest in Minton. When one of Minton's planes becomes the target of sabotage, Superman discovers the threat and stops it. He questions the two men who planted dynamite on the plane. They claim to work for Loops Logan.

Logan is competing with Minton for an airplane contract. When his attempts to destroy Minton's plane fail, he challenges his rival to a race. Superman promises not to touch Minton's plane. However, when Logan sabotages Minton's instruments, Superman protects the plane by moving obstacles that are in its path. Minton wins the race and the contract. Clark also learns that Lois was not interested in Minton. He is the husband of one of her high school friends.
