Wilbur Wolfingham convinces three retired businessmen to start a new business to relieve their boredom. He uses their reputations to get credit and receives large orders from clients. He intends to leave town with the money, but Superman arrives on the scene to expose his scheme. The three businessmen fear their reputations will be ruined, but Superman helps them fill the orders which would have taken them a lifetime to do themselves. Wolfingham returns the money he stole. The businessmen continue their new operation without Wolfingham.
