The Prankster returns with a series of crimes based on exaggerated advertising slogans. The Prankster makes the slogans literally come true during his crimes. Superman is forced to let the crook escape in order to protect bystanders. During one crime the Prankster even abducts Lois.
Finally Superman creates his own ad as a trap for the Prankster. Unable to resist, the Prankster pulls another robbery. When Superman foils him, Prankster threatens to kill Lois. Superman rescues her, then he apprehends the criminal comedian, returning him to prison.
