Synopsis:
A sailor visits the office of Colonel Darnell claiming that mermaids sank his ship. Steve Trevor investigates the story and is captured by a group of mermaids. He is taken to their leader King Neptune where his memory is removed.

Before Steve is caught, he managed to alert Wonder Woman. She comes to Steve's aid along with the Holliday Girls. Wonder Woman is captured also and bound with her own lasso. However, the potion which was to remove her memory does not work. She feigns weakness, then escapes. Wonder Woman then rescues Steve and exposes the mermaids as fakes. King Neptune is really swimming champion Leona Masters, who was using Neptune's legend to disguise her piracy operations.
