Student Bif Jones hates his history class. Wonder Woman offers to help him experience history first hand by taking him back to England to meet Queen Boadicea of England. Unfortunately Paula's time travel machine malfunctions. When Wonder Woman and Bif appear, they are invisible phantoms. The pair then watch helplessly as Boadicea and her daughters are taken prisoner by the Roman legions of Nero.
Through amazing will power, Wonder Woman causes herself to materialize. She battles the legions, but loses. They chain her bracelets together removing her Amazon powers. Bif, still a phantom, manages to free Boadicea's daughters. They help Wonder Woman escape and then defeat the Romans.
The time travelers then return to their own time with Boadicea's daughter Rowena in tow. Bif's interest in history is ignited, winning him an award.
