Steve Trevor is a Major in this story. He receives a promotion some time after this story because he is a Lieutenant Colonel in Wonder Woman #22.

Synopsis:
Army Intelligence is assigned to investigate a series of bank robberies in which all persons in the bank were knocked unconscious prior to the robbery. The crooks phone in a threat of another robbery, so Steve Trevor is dispatched to the bank. Inside he finds Etta Candy and the Holliday Girls. The bank robbers then strike using a sonic device that knocks out everyone.

Wonder Woman learns that Steve has been sent to protect the bank. She follows and arrives while the robbery is in progress. The crooks force her to surrender by using the unconscious bystanders as hostages. The crooks then escape, while Wonder Woman saves everyone from the sonic device.

Steve returns to headquarters and reports that the crooks have escaped. However, Wonder Woman was able to pursue and capture them. She takes her prisoners back to headquarters where the gang leader is revealed as Professor Vibrate of Holliday College.
