Synopsis:
Alfred is hired by a criminal gang to teach them the art of becoming a butler. One of the crooks intends to use Alfred's advice to get a butlering job where he can rob a house from the inside. In exchange, the crooks teach Alfred about jewels. When the crooks spot a policeman nearby, they slip the stolen loot to Alfred. Thinking he took the gems by mistake, he attempts to return them. The crooks believe Alfred has discovered their scheme. When they act, Alfred summons the police. Alfred gets credit for capturing the gang, though he didn't even know who they were.
