Synopsis:
Crime boss T. Worthington Chubb believes that he can uncover Batman's real identity. He compiles a list of suspects then watches them. Only Bruce Wayne was unaccounted for during one of Batman's appearances, leading Chubb to conclude that Bruce is Batman.

Chubb sends Bruce a letter telling him that his identity has been discovered. He warns Bruce not to interfere with his criminal operations. Chubb also keeps men watching Bruce at all times. Bruce is able to use various tricks to make the observers believe he is still there, while he fights crime elsewhere as Batman.

Eventually, Chubb kidnaps Bruce and Dick. To cover his secret Bruce knocks out his guard, then switches places with him. When Batman appears elsewhere Chubb believes that Bruce is still in custody. Batman finally captures Chubb and his men and keeps his true identity a secret.
