Princess Ramia of Myrg is forced by her people into a marriage with Prince Peril, a man she detests. Rather than marry Peril, Ramia journey to Earth-2 to find a husband. She meets Doiby Dickles, who decides to introduce Ramia to Alan Scott.

Before the meeting can be arranged Prince Peril arrives, having followed Ramia to Earth. Doiby defends Ramia, until Alan Scott arrives on the scene as Green Lantern. GL battles Prince Peril, but loses. Doiby and Ramia flee to Earth-1 using a device carried by the princess. Doiby summons the Green Lantern of Earth-1, Hal Jordan, to help. Prince Peril follows his opponents to Earth-1 and bests Hal. He then drags Ramia and Doiby back to Myrg.

Both Green Lanterns recover from their injuries and team-up on the way to Myrg. Working together they are able to defeat Prince Peril and halt the wedding. Ramia then marries Doiby, who has fallen in love with the princess.
