Wes Dodds spots a phony Rembrandt hanging in a museum. The curator is shocked to find the forgery and explains that it is the second time that a painting was switched. Wes buys the fake painting while Sandy finds a paint brush on the floor of the museum.
Later a painter named Goro notices that one of his brushes is missing. He learns that Wes bought the painting and suspects that he has the brush too. Goro contacts his boss "Pork Barrel" Repp, who sends men to steal the brush and painting.
After the theft the Sandman gets involved. He checks out Goro which leads him to Repp. At Repp's house, Sandman finds the brush which has a hidden extension. This allows Goro to paint over the museum paintings. The fake painting was real with paint on top of it.
Sandman then follows Repp and Goro as the crooks make their escape. He captures them and recovers the paintings.
