Synopsis:
Larry Lance is hired by millionaire Charles Lang to recover a stolen emerald. Meanwhile, Lang's nephew Nelson orders every single rose in Dinah Drake's flower shop delivered to his house. When making the delivery, Dinah and Larry find crooks in the Lang home. The crooks escape despite their efforts to stop them.

Larry and Dinah, as the Black Canary, return to the flower shop where they find Nelson murdered. They continue on to Charles Lang's summer home, where they find the crooks again. They rescue Lang and apprehend the gang.

Nelson had stolen the emerald, intending to turn it over to the gang. When he changed his mind, he hid the emerald in one of Dinah's roses. Then the gang murdered him.
