Synopsis:
The Blackhawks begin building a new island base after their original headquarters was destroyed by an atomic blast. Meek Winslow Shirk searches for the Blackhawks, and when he goes near the original island he is exposed to radiation. This radiation causes him to become invisible.
When he finally does catch up to the Blackhawks during a battle with the Nazi, he is able to sneak aboard one of their planes and is carried back to Blackhawk Island. There he watches as Blackhawk raises the spirit of Stanislaus who finally returns to active duty. The team is then called away for a mission to protect Winston Churchill.
Winslow is left alone on the island. An intelligence report then comes in alerting the Blackhawks to the fact that the Prime Minister is in Belvar. Since only Winslow is there to receive the report he flies to Belvar and prevents the assassination of Winston Churchill. Before the real Blackhawks arrive he runs away. The Blackhawks are left with a mystery of who was the Blackhawk that saved Churchill's life.
Eventually Shirk's invisibility wears off, and he returns home.
